The Green Barn Studio & Gallery

A Living Landscape for Art, Nature, and Spirit

Nestled among the rolling hills and fertile farmland of the Brandywine Valley, the historic Green Barn has been lovingly restored into a shared studio and gallery space for artists Michael and Sally Green and their creative community.

Surrounded by native plant gardens and edible landscaping, the barn is more than a place for art—it’s a living landscape that reflects the Greens’ devotion to beauty, regenerative gardening, and creativity.

Long before its renaissance as a home for the arts, the barn served as the winter headquarters for Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show, where his horses and animals trained and rehearsed their routines. Today, that spirited legacy lives on in a new form of artistry—one rooted in reverence for nature, craftsmanship, and the creative soul.

And though it feels a world apart, the Green Barn is easy to reach. Hop on Amtrak at Penn Station, NYC (NYP) or 30th Street Station, Philadelphia (PHL) to the Parkesburg, PA (PAR) station, just ten minutes away.
